Pre-Seminary
Thousands of pastors and theological scholars received their Pre-Seminary education at 资本, one of the predecessor seminaries to 三一 Lutheran Seminary, now located across College Avenue from 资本’s Bexley campus. While most of these serve the Lutheran Church, other denominations have been represented as well. Seminaries generally urge applicants to receive a well-rounded education. Candidates are expected to have a familiarity with the Scriptures and at least a basic knowledge of their denomination’s basic teachings. For most of the university’s history, a seminary has been a part of 资本. Thousands of pastors and scholars have received their education at 资本. Pre-Seminary studies is centered in the religion department, but students come from all majors. People of all faiths, cultures, traditions, and experiences are welcome.
